2-Month Housemaid Training in Uganda
Every Meraki candidate completes a two-month practical programme before she can be approved for the public housemaid directory. Training covers eight core courses, recorded assessments, professional expectations and employment-rights awareness.

Reliability, timekeeping, employment rights, responsibilities and placement readiness.
Training is measured before a profile is listed.
The Staff Portal records course scores and outcomes. Publishing remains unavailable until every required course is passed and the four verification checks are complete.

Candidates train across the eight-course curriculum during the two-month programme.
Performance recorded
Scores, outcomes and completion dates are entered into the protected staff record.
Verification completed
Identity, residence, references and health checks are reviewed separately.
Profile approved
Only a candidate who meets both standards can appear in the public directory.

How long is Meraki’s housemaid training programme?+
The programme runs for two months and covers eight core practical courses. Training performance is recorded by module before a candidate can be approved for a public profile.
What courses are included in the training?+
Courses cover professional housekeeping and sanitation, laundry and fabric care, food hygiene and meal preparation, childcare and safeguarding, first aid and emergency response, elder care, household communication, and work readiness and rights.
Does completing training automatically publish a profile?+
No. All eight courses must be marked as passed, and the identity, residence, reference and health verification checks must also be completed before staff can publish a profile.

Yes. Approved public profiles can display practical training performance so families can compare strengths alongside skills and experience.
